Tie red as blood

"Skin white as snow, lips red as blood, and hair black as ebony"

Although the quote above is meant for Snow White and me being me does not fulfill any of the three, even hair black as ebony, because my hair is actually a dark, dark brown. However I can use the lips red as blood as an analogy to the tie I'm wearing that I bought from Banana republic during cyber Monday.

Timeless Bond

Angel and Trevor's Engagement

Shutter: 1/125
f/stop: f/1.4
Focal Length: 30mm
ISO: 800
Location: San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts

This is still one of my favorite shots that I've taken. This was taken approximately 2 years ago for Angel and Trevor's Engagement. For this shot, I imagined a somewhat vintage black and white photo. The idea came from that one famous black and white photo where someone from the military was kissing a woman in the middle of the street; I forgot what it was called. Angel was currently pregnant with Isaiah in this photo, you can see her little baby bump touchy Trevor's stomach. I also wanted to take the photo vertical while the building in the background was still somewhat visible, as I wanted to give it a timeless feel to it. All in all, this is one of my favorite shots

I'm Coming Home

Jordan

Shutter: 1/2500
f/stop: f/1.4
Focal Length: 30mm
ISO: 100
Location: 1st Street Pier at Benicia

It has been a while since I've last been in the photography game. This was also the very first time that I kicked it with Jordan (guy photographed above). We went around the Benicia area, which I had no knowledge of where anything was. Jordan showed me around some spots where it was cool to take some pictures. I knew where the pier was, which was where the above picture was taken. Knowing only the pier and Jamba Juice (not really a place where you would do a photoshoot) he showed me around the local area such as the valley, the "wooden park" according to him, and the gazebo. I shot some pretty appealing pictures. Usually I tend to shoot with the subject backlit, because I love that bright background and especially when the sun flares are shown.
